Camilla Deakin

Camilla started her career as a freelance journalist writing primarily for The Face magazine on music, club culture and fashion.

Camilla Deakin works for Uden Associates

In 1992 she joined television production company Uden Associates where she worked on numerous documentary and features programmes as a producer and director.

Work for Channel 5

She went on to Series Produce Channel 5's 'The Car Show' and Channel 4's music series 'John Peel's Sounds of the Suburbs', and then Executive Produced documentary series 'The Spying Game' for Channel 4.

Channel 4: Camilla Deakin Deputy Commissioning Editor, Arts & Music

In 1999 Camilla was appointed Deputy Commissioning Editor, Arts & Music at Channel 4 and was soon promoted to incorporate animation in her role as Editor, Arts & Animation.

Lupus Films: Camilla Deakin forms her own company

Camilla left Channel 4 in December 2001 to form her own company Lupus Films, but continues to work for the Channel as a Consultant. Camilla acts as Joint Managing Director of Lupus Films, as well as acting as Executive Producer of animated specials 'Little Wolf's Book of Badness', 'Wilde Stories', and puppet show 'Meekats Luvvies', and Producer of the children's factual entertainment series 'Combat Club'.
