Ruth Fielding

After gaining an MA in Text and Performance Studies from RADA and Kings College, Ruth directed and produced plays on the London and Edinburgh Fringe before joining the Kings Head Theatre as an Assistant Director. She then worked for Zenith Corporate Productions as a producer for 2 years handling client accounts for Whitbread Beer Company, Post Office Counters and Perfect Pizza.

Channel 4 and Ruth Fielding

In 1997 she joined Channel 4's animation department and was soon promoted to Assistant Editor, Animation & Arts where she remained for 4 years. During her time at Channel 4 Ruth's specialist area was script editing which gave her hands on involvement in the development of comedy series such as Bob and Margaret and Pond Life and numerous award winning auteur-led shorts and Christmas specials.

Lupus Films and Ruth Fielding

Ruth left Channel 4 in December 2001 to set up Lupus Films where she is joint Managing Director. For Lupus she has produced 'Little Wolf's Book of Badness', 'Wilde Stories', and 'Meerkats Luvvies' as well as Executive Producing 'Combat Club'.

Channel 4 consultant

As a Consultant to Channel 4 Ruth Fielding manages three award winning animated short film schemes, animate!, Mesh and A.I.R overseeing the production of up to 13 short films every year. She is also a talent scout for NESTA's Creative Pioneer Programme.
